Hengshui Laobaigan Liquor-culture Sightseeing Industrial Park is a AAA tourist attraction and has such scenic spots as Yinbin Square, Fragrance Square, Workshop No. 8, Liquor Charm Gallery, Zuiweng Pavilion, Workshop No. 10, The First Liquor Cellar of the PRC, 1915 Square, Liquor Bank, Ten Thousand Tons Granary, Supplementary Materials Warehouse, Intelligent Packing Center, Intelligent Storing Center and others. In 2004, the park was conferred the first batch national industrial tourist demonstration site by National Tourism Administration and has gradually grown into a sightseeing area involving culture, history, industrial knowledge, leisure and shopping. The park is successively awarded “The Most Fascinating Tourist Attraction”, “Top 10 Industrial Tourist Enterprise in China”, “Patriotism Education Demonstration Base” and “Social Sciences Popularization Demonstration Base”.

Grown up in the Han Dynasty and flourished in the Tang Dynasty, Hengshui Laobaigan became well known in Song Dynasty and got its name in Ming Dynasty, with a continual liquor-making history for more than 2000 years. Hengshui Laobaigan won the top prize in 1915 Panama World Exhibition of Goods. In 1946, the government took over 18 distilleries and established “State-run Distillery of Southern Hebei Administrative Office”. In 2008, the traditional brewing technique of Heshui Laobaigan was recognized as one of national intangible cultural heritages by the Ministry of Culture. Now our company covers more than 4000 mu in area, with more than 7000 employees and an annual output of 120,000 tons of quality liquors, being the largest producer of the liquor of Laobaigan aroma type.
